About this Costume
Construction Details:
With the exception of the organza I used for the hood, this was all fabric that was sitting in our living room collecting dust. D:

The dress was the worst - I drafted the pattern mostly from scratch, using a "renaissance top" pattern to help get the shaping of the top. Even then, the pattern wasn't much of a help, and just made me angrier. XD;

The "headless headdress" is three layers of glitter organza hand-gathered and attached to a spare piece of quilt binding, with velcro to keep it closed.

The cape... is a cape. Yay!
Personal Thoughts:
After seeing Mirai Noah's take on this outfit, I wanted to try it! And my friend Colleen gave me the idea to use organza for the headless look.

Also... this is the second Celty costume I've worn in public that has been referred to as "Lady Gaga." Clearly, Celty wants your bad romance.
