Construction Details:

This dress was started Dec 08 and many times I didn't want to finch it. The ending fabric count of this dress is about 24yards (this included the self made pettie coat.) The dress had a heart neckline so to fit my body shape. I chose to alter the design of the dress to try and flatter my own frame. I also chose to make the quality of the dress to rival that of most modern wedding dresses. The skirt had three layers, the base is stretch satain, middle is a self dyed chiffon and the top is an organdy. The sleevs are just basic sleeve pattern, place upside down and then four layers of gather chiffon ruffles. All the jewlery I customed made. I was lucky by waiting that pink pearls had come back into jewlery and was to pick up many in different sizes from y local craft stores, Roberts and Michelles. They all have magnic ends making it easyer to take off and on and not to catch on hair or my dress. The wig is a Pink Tina 950 that I spent countless hours curling with hot curlers and hair spary. I chose not to do her buns to make it a bit more elegant. Give more time, money and skill I will try and make the bun wig. -_- I did my first reisn cast with Small Lady's for head gem.

Personal Thoughts:

I love being pretty but this has been a rather large heart ack and a fight to get to a liking stage.
