Construction Details:

The shirt, made of jersey knit, was patterned by me, the stripe was sewn in as a separate piece. The vest, made of cotton, was patterned by me and self-lined. The shorts are either a cotton sateen or twill-type of material. The wristbands were a jersey knit. The shorts were patterned by me. A little tricky since I had to make each leg one single piece, and then had to add the "U" shapes on the side. The shoes were a plain canvas that I then patterned the orange pieces for. They're stuffed with a single layer of quilt batting to give it a more 3D feel. Socks were purchased. The goggles were entirely made by me: plexiglass, metal sheeting, sculpey.

Personal Thoughts:

Digimon 02 is my favorite series ever. This is just the first of many, many Davis costumes I plan on making this year.

The summer outfit is fun. Was a last-minute thing after deciding last-minute to attend AnimeNEXT. But it was super fun.
