Construction Details:

So much to say about this costume. xD So uhhhh, first off this is definitely my best and favorite cosplay by far. I had so much fun in it (friends kept stealing my gun &hat from me xD) and had an awesome time with all the OP cosplayers. I've wanted to cosplay this version since first seeing the trailers, and I'm so happy it actually happened. Despite ALL the procrastination. :] Okay, now the actual costume. - Everything he actually wears, I bought &modified. Shirt, coat, shorts, tie, etc (No sewing. FTW. xD). Even this was last minute.. Finally bought the last pieces of the outfit the Friday of the con. :'D - Strawhat was the same one used at Fan Expo where I bought it. (Might have to get a new one though. Long story. -___-") - Gun.. LOLOLOLOL. Bought materials months before the actual convention, but didn't actually start until.. 2 days before I was actually gonna use it. Basically just foamboard, pringle can, craft foam and HOT GLUE (my saviour LOL). I reeeeally wanna redo it one day.. I feel bad for rushing &working til 3 in the morning the day I was heading up for Anime North. Details kinda got ignored and half-assed, but hey its my first prop. :3 It's the wrong shape too. -___- I made it off a sketch I made by memory, BIG MISTAKE. When I searched up the real version I was like "JFFJKHJDFHKSHF. NOOOO." And my dad was just like "Psssh. No one except for OP fans will EVER notice LOL" Thanks dad. xD - And I cut my hair the day before the con just for this cosplay as I always do. *too cheap for wigs* xD Haha, lastly windy convention was windy. My hat &coat kept falling off since I didn't attach them to the rest of the costume. Gonna have to fix that too. x3 AS WELL, coat is the wrong color. If you look reeeeeally closely, you'll see its not even black at all, but a navy blue-ish thing. At least you can't see that in photos. xD I reeeeally wanna cosplay the Strong World casual now.. Fan Expo here I come? ;D Shoutouts to the Strong World group. You guys were EPIC as usual. :D
