Construction Details:

Made of some random fabric I found downtown (same stuff I used for Azula) and sort of thrown together. I'm only really happy with the fact that the vest is self-lined and understitched and looks nice, and the trim on the shawl and the wrist things is very tidy. The wig also turned out better than I would have expected, but I don't love the way it photographs.

Personal Thoughts:

I think I make a horrible Sokka. But that certainly isn't going to stop me making more of his costumes or being pretty happy with doing groups like this. I just like him too much. (Also, the Ohayo group was awesome. Melly was Suki, Ashley was Mai, and Stripper Vash was Zuko.) When I rewore this at Fanime (with Ashley as Toph this time) we both just acted goofy and had a blast.
