Construction Details:

Bullied into this costume by Rosabella, but I don't mind at all. XD Made the pants from scratch with lots of careful patterning to get the seams right and cut up some gross green socks to use as the knit cuffs at the bottom. Then slavedriver week began at Rosa's house and I blasted through the coat and shoes in days. For the little mantle, I cut up a sweater that had the perfect ribbing but was a total pain to sew so it had to be done by hand. Parts of the collar and lapels were made out of this tablecloth-type fabric and the little white bits on the sleeves were I think flag fabric -- this whole costume was frankensteining. XD For the shoes, I took some pink converse-esque shoes as a base and made a replica of the various flaps with my own fabric and secured them on top of the original shoes. Hammered some eyelets and laced it all up and done. For the gloves, I took some white leather ladies gloves and just painted the black on. Rosabella Light-san made the leather belt pouch and painted the scarf for me and Bur Loire my eternal HERO dyed and styled the wig.
