Construction Details:

Mostly found items: wig from CosWorks; pants & belt from Goodwill; shoes & wristbands (which were made from baby socks) from Old Navy; small belts from PetCo; shirt from the internet and altered from a longish baseball T to a shorter short-sleeved T. T-shirt design added with fabric transfer printer paper. Dickey ("turtle-neck") sewn as a separate piece.

Personal Thoughts:

I made this costume at the encouragement of my friend Patrick D, seen in many of these photos as Renamon. He hadn't worn the costume in a few years and 2010 was his first time wearing it around the halls of Anime Boston. We were staying in the Marriott and barely made it out the elevator when the first photo requests started coming. On our way through the mall to the Hynes we got stopped by a few dozen people, including random non-attendees plus at least two store clerks! It was a lot of fun, but very exhausting getting stopped so often--who knew walking around with an over 6-ft tall Digimon would get you so much attention o_o;;;

*****************SALE INFO**** The baseball T I found online required a minimum purchase of 3 shirts, so I have 2 extra lying around. I'd be happy to sell them. Currently they are as I bought them (longer sleeves, no design) but for an additional $10 I can finish them to look just like mine. PM for more details.
