Construction Details:

The sword was made by my husband, who is cosplaying Frey in this group. We tried many, many times to get the floating ribbons to work, but in the end the costumes worked better without it. I'm so happy with the coat- it's fully lined, with over 100 buttonholes. Sew sew sew, snip snip snip! It was a lot of fun to wear these with my friends, even though it was freezing cold when we went outside for photos. Our group won an honorable mention at Katsucon 2006.
