Construction Details:

[Circa 2008] I completely blame Mario [EMPManiac] for getting me into this series. He was organizing a skit for Katsucon ["La Resistance"] and was looking for characters from the series. He introduced me to the character of Euphemia (pink haired, good natured princess who crushes on a sexy knight) and I said yes to cosplaying her before really getting a chance to watch the series. I'm glad I did though; she has become one of my favorite characters to cosplay!

The top of the costume was made by Nicole [~nami~] and I threw the rest of the outfit together (the wig was also borrowed from her). I later redid everything for a photoshoot with Lauren [Kittyling] when I visited her in D.C.

Fun fact:: Because I was feeling awful and had a terribly high fever, I changed out of my costume after the masquerade which explains why I am in my PJs in so many of the shots. But hey, we won Best in Show!
