I love being Hanon. It's so fun to just jump around acting like a total spaz. Unfortunately, this costume has made me realize that I NEVER want to do a group cosplay as big as this again...too much drama. *Update* We wore these for Anime Weekend Atlanta XV with a few minor changes. First, or original Luchia was replaced with our friend Emily. She did a much better job bringing the innocence and shoujo-ness we wanted in the first place. Second, Erika, who was our Sara, couldn't make it to AWA, so we were missing a mermaid. :( But we did play Return to the Sea a lot, and thought of Erika every time we played it! XD Anyway, my friend, Chelsea, made all the costumes, and I made the earrings, transformation bracelets, necklaces, and e-pitch (microphones). They're all made out of sculpey and painted with acrylic paints. The transformation bracelet is made out of craft foam.
