Construction Details:

The pendant was molded out of sculpey, then I used a two piece latex mold and cast it in resin. I then painted the metal parts, sealed it. At the end of the credits, a small leather piece falls out of the back- after the resin had cured, I added my own leather pieces to the back and filled it in with extra resin. Finally I strung it with a necklace kit.

Personal Thoughts:

I learned a lot about casting and resin from this project. Castin Craft isn't that great of a product, and the resin was tacky for several weeks after I cast the pendant. I did like the translucent color, and the latex did maintain the details.
