Wow! I was on cloud nine the whole time I was wearing this. I love Mikami!!A friend of mine the night before I wore this told me no one would know who Mikami is. He was soooo wrong!! I had a bunch of people ask for my photo BECAUSE cosplay from this show is so rare. It was good to know people still watch some great stuff! My favorite parts of the costume were the wig & the jewelry. The earrings and necklace were swarovski crystal teardrops that I painted with translucent glass paint. I really loved the gold beads on the necklace too.

Personal Thoughts:

This series had me at hello! Vartan introduced me to it and we finally got to cosplay Yokoshima & Mikami together! I had a blast taking some dark outdoor pics, trying to capture the creepy ghost aspects of the show. Pretty much the show goes like this: Take Lina Inverse from Slayers, give her her own business of being an exorcist. Partner her up with Ataru from Urusei Yatsura to hunt ghosts. Add in some silly side characters like in Ranma and you have Ghost sweeper Mikami!! I laugh so hard every time I watch it!! I am very sad they never brought the tv series to the states.
