Construction Details:

Uri is custom made starting with two types of white fur, and all the color/spots/flames were airbrushed in then alcohol dried out. Uri doesn't sport as many joints as Mao, only 16 joints + skull, but the Uri's joints are better and allow him more range of motion, which in turn means higher posability. Also in contrast to Mau, Uri took me 3 months to make. Sculpting the head took much of the time. Since he is more of a kitten, he needs to be smaller than Mau, but since he's anime style, the head is larger and more exaggerated than a normal cat. Practically everything about Uri is custom made, including the eyes.

Personal Thoughts:

Like Hibari has an animal (hedgehog) box weapon, Uri is Gokudera's disobedient box weapon and frequently claws and scratches his master and comes out as he pleases. Uri means melon in Japanese O_o. Don't ask me, Gokudera is the one that named him, maybe that's why he gets clawed all the time. Uri is a little kitten with flame ears and big deep red eyes and is one of the box weapons that can actually eat. Uri sneaks into Hibari's side of the compound late at night, and the not-so-amused Hibari escorts Uri, kicking and mewing, back to Gokudera.
