Construction Details:

This was the first cosplay I did that I crafted something myself for it. The kimono was a gift from my mother, each pair of sandals has been bought from Savers or Target, the socks were bought from a Detour dealer in '09 and the obi and hair ribbon I made myself. Looking into contacts and a wig. Since then, I also have a new kimono for her, as I wanted my mother to have hers back once I moved out.

Personal Thoughts:

She was made to go with an old boyfriend's Kenshin, after trying to decide on a couple to do. The kimono I had reminded us of Kaoru, so it just felt like the right move.
