Construction Details:

This costume is a bit of a long story. It all began May 2006 when I was young and foolish and believed I could take on this project. I managed the skirt and I was really pleased with it but I decided to make the costume when I had exams. So it was a bit stupid really and I didn't get the top finished on time. Which I'm quite glad about because it was looking terrible anyway. A few months later I thought it would be a good idea to try and finish it completely for Minami 2007. But, once again, stupid me decided this when I was doing a very important year at school that required a crap load of work and not a lot of free time. Meaning what free time I had I spent asleep or watching TV XD So, once again, the top was unfinished and therefore crap. Finally I decided I was sick of the crappy top I had made so badly and my sewing skills had improved a lot since when I started making it so I whipped up a new one. I decided on a way to make the pink bits and, although they ended up a bit big and I didn't have time to resize them, I was really pleased with how the top turned out. I do need to work on her crazy neck garb, though. And, I know...I wussed out and wore a flesh-coloured top XD
