Construction Details:

During the Summer of '08, I was having a nostalgic game moment when I was playing some of the old games I used to enjoy when I was younger. One of my favorite games that I still love to this day is the first Suikoden game. I always told myself that I'd cosplay from the Suikoden games one day, so I seized the oppurtunity, since there was a small cosplay meet coming up, and it looked simple to make and comfortable to wear. The costume probably took a day total to complete. The red top, pants, and headscarf were pretty straightforward, and I didn't have much of a problem sewing them. The staff was created from a long wooden dowel, and the gold details were made from paper clay and paint. The wig was styled by Shichikou.(Thank you so much!) The gloves were the part that took the longest, since most of it was handsewn together. When I first completed it, I didn't think I'd wear it again after the meet... but I've grown a fondness for this costume, and I think it'll see the light of day again soon.
