Construction Details:

I went all out for such a simple costume. I ordered my wig from cosplaywig on ebay, but unfortunatly was not happy with the color. I had a very hard time with finding something close to the color I wanted. I did a total make over to the wig. It was 40 inches long. I cut it, styled it and used some spray color to change the appearance so it would be more to my liking. I used pink contacts. I also had a hard time making the halo. Long story...

Personal Thoughts:

Vartan introduced me to this series and I absolutely fell in love with it! I also really love the manga as well. It's come to America, so it's easy to find now. The series is a love triangle between 2 life long friends and the "new girl". It has some weird & silly situations because Samataro, the main character is the son of god and lives with his god family, so pretty much anything is possible. Tenko my character is his guardian angel & live-in best friend. They pretty much live like humans in Japan. Samataro's family kinda reminds me of Noelle's family from Tenshi ni Narumon. I gravitate to series with wacky families I suppose? To show our love for the show, Vartan and I cosplayed Kamisama at Anime Next! We had the keychain samataro gives tenko and mr. piggy bank! It was a blast and for once people actually knew what we were cosplaying! *____* I also made an AMV about the show. Check it out here if you want to get into the show!
