Construction Details:

The Kira costume was the most detailed I've ever been involved with. We were able to work off of photos & drawings of the original costumes. Everything was hand dyed, sewn & stiched. Wigs have details you can't really see. All the puppets & Fizzgig were made by hand; Glass eyes, paint, foam & fabrics. The backdrop had to be collapsible for transport. That whole thing was hand painted to look like one of the ruins. It took a crew of people backstage working the puppets and moving the backdrop to make this work.
