Construction Details:

A friend of mine lent me her WHR dvds on a whim in early 2007...and she doesn't regret that horrible mistake. I fell hard for the story, the pacing, and the art, but mostly I fell in love with Robin herself. So, of course I had to cosplay her! I made this costume in 11 days (yes, I know that's nuts) and it's one of my favorites. Not only is it very fun to be a character I love so much, it's pretty comfy to wear. (And it has POCKETS!) The grey dress is stretch twill, the overdress is twill, and the coat and gloves are moleskin. I extension-parted and styled the wig myself (there's wire in them thar handlebars!) and made my pendant out of Super Sculpey.
