Construction Details:

A friend was going as Hinata and I wanted to make a Naruto costume to cosplay with her. As I didn't really watch Naruto at that time, it took me some time to research exactly who I wanted to be without any wigs. With some suggestions from my friend, I settled on Tenten. And I'm glad i did. As I got into the series more, I found that I do enjoy her character. I made the shirt from a jacket pattern, so I had to modify the armholes, which they ended up a bit bigger than I would have liked, but I found it allows me more movement which I'm glad for. I also made the headband. I am very proud of my headband. Sheet metal isn't all that hard to work with in small amounts. And I painstakenly used a nail with a flattened head to punch in the hidden leaf design. I'm now working on sadals to wear and finding they are a pain as well, but will be worth it. I have had a lot of fun in this costume.
