I'll try to keep this *somewhat* short, hehe. I'm a Comic Artist/Illustrator who graduated from SCAD in 2008 with a degree in Sequential Art. I've been an anime fan since I discovered Sailor Moon on syndicated US television. My first convention was Otakon 1999. I attend Otakon (1999-present), Katsucon (2002-present), Dragon*Con (2005-present, though not every year), Animazement (2006-present), Anime USA (2002-2003), and Anime Weekend Atlanta (2005-present)!
I cosplay to have fun, to show a love and sometimes identification for certain characters, and...did I mention to have fun? Over the years I've really come to love cosplay as a challenging hobby, too. It's incredibly fun and rewarding to find a solution to each different piece of the character's appearance. I believe anyone can cosplay as long as their heart is in it!
My username and cosplay "handle" comes from Shinji Ikari. Specifically, I get a kick out of Shinji's "psycho"/berserk moments, hence PsychoShinji! :3 Thanks for readin'!
