Wig Dyeing

So, how do you dye your wigs if you're poor like me and can't afford Katie Bair's amazing wig dye? Do you Sharpie it, or use the FW ink, and how do you use either product? I'm starting with a medium blue wig, and need to make it Sailor Neptune sea-green. Any suggestions?

If you wanted to make it easier on yourself you could allways buy a predone wig.
