Construction Details:

The costume was done by purchasing the training shirt off of ThinkGeek, and then wearing simple active trousers. The bow used for the convention at CtCon where I debuted the cosplay was a piece of wood selected from a hunt of fallen limbs in a forest. The arrows were done by buying wooden dowels, and then cutting the fins out of cereal box cardboard. The pointed tips were also cut from cereal box cardboard, and then folded into a point. The bow and arrow were then all spray painted silver to match the look of the weaponry in the film adaptations.

For non-convention uses, I have an actual silver-coloured bow with silver arrows, that were purchased online.

Personal Thoughts:

This was my first completed cosplay that I wore to a convention. It was easily recognised, but I chose it specifically because I'm a seasoned archer and I felt that I could easily get into character with practical real-world experience.

Wig Review

The braid frays a bit over multiple uses, but it does not detract from the quality and it's simply fixed by undoing and redoing the braid quickly.
