Construction Details:

This is a simple costume, perfect to do on the side. Still, I wanted to do it justice, so I made all of the parts-- the shirt is fully lined, etc. I made everything in a few days.

SO, when I finally got my wig, cut it, and styled it, I thought I had hacked at it to the point of no return, but it turns out it worked out okay. Once I styled it it doesn't look too bad (I hope). And it's kind of looks black, but actually it's really dark brown-- my other brown wigs just weren't right, so I think this color is better. I restyled it since my first photoshoot, and I think it's much better.

Personal Thoughts:

This was my first of multiple Setsuna cosplays-- well, it's his standard outfit, so it was proper to start off with. Obviously I like moody, brown/black-haired boys, so naturally I was drawn to Setsuna even simply by his character design. But in general, he's very determined and has a strong sense of justice. Anyway, this costume is very simple, but jump-started my more-intense-cosplay-mindset and production, so I'm glad for it.
