Construction Details:

The dress was constructed out of a jersey knit material and the blue pieces were custom dyed to match the references. I heavily altered a dress pattern to the point of un-recognizability. The details at the bottom were hand sewn. The jacket was made from a heavily altered bolero pattern. I tattered the fabrics by hand and fray-checked all the edges. The sleeve detail, belt, hip wrap and shoes were all made out of vinyl fabric. As a favor for doing most of the sewing for her Paine costume Kitsunebaby made the head of the staff. It was carved out of pink insulation foam and then paper mached. I attached it to a dowel rod (it comes apart in the center for easy storage) and painted the staff. I added the details around the bottom and neck.

Personal Thoughts:

I love love love the wig. So much in fact that I want to cosplay more Yuna versions. There are a couple of things that I would like to change (for instance the belt and the hip wrap) but for a first run I am happy with the result.
