Construction Details:

I absolutely loved this series as a kid, and figured Halloween was the best time to make the costume. The poncho is made of red broadcloth, lined in violet polyester. Each spiderweb is hand drawn (I tried to satin stitch, or use bias tape, but it turned out drawing the webs was the best option). I custom drafted the poncho pattern, so there are no seams on the shoulders. The hair 'poof' is an extension, with a custom made hair tie (made out of the lining fabric & off pink bias tape). The underclothes are just black clothes I own. I opted out of a bodysuit, for comfort reasons.
