Construction Details:

The wings are hand dyed silk over a wire base. They are then motorized with a servo/arduino system. Base costume was fairly simple. Blinged it out with about 14 hours worth of heat set rhinestones. Made it into a two piece dress with the corset top featuring a lattice smocking.

Personal Thoughts:

Two years in the planning and plotting. This costume finally came to be finished and worn. First time using actual motors and electronics in a costume. My wings flap!
