Aya Mikage Jacket Help
Hello everyone!
My friend and are are attending Otakon this year, and we decided to dress up as Aya and Ceres from Ayashi no Ceres.
However, we are having trouble with the jacket of their red school uniform. Any tips on how to sew or construct it would be great!
Thank you!

i'ld go to a secondhand store such as goodwill and find a shirt or jacket that is plain with no pockets and that color. i'ld also buy the trim and make the pocket myself.
if looks like the baic sailor fuku only more fittinf and more formal so you could use a salior fuku pattern, add the pocket, and alter it to make the pointed front tails of the jacket

I want to help save the world... if only I could remember how?

try www.sewingpatterns.com you can try and find a pattern in the costumes or whichever that closely resembles the fuku jacket then modifiy it the best you can.
There used to be a fuku pattern out there but I think it went out of print...I'll keep looking though..
