Hello, Is it safe to travel to Egypt? From my friend’s visit, I’d say yes, if you stay alert. She spent most of her time in Cairo and by the Nile, and said the tourist areas felt safe and well-guarded. She didn’t face any major problems but avoided quiet or isolated places, especially at night. Local people were kind, but she stayed cautious with taxis and street vendors. In my words, Egypt can be safe if you stick to the main spots and use a bit of common sense while exploring.
