Looking for ideas for my first con

I'm going to Anime supercon at the end of this month, and want to cosplay for it. I've never been to a con, so i want to go in style 
I'm 6'7" and 260lbs, more on the big frame than any exceptional fat or muscle, and need some ideas. Hopefully nothing to hard, i am pretty good at sewing and such, but this will be my first of this style
