tights - decoration

Post by Mamimi » Wed Feb 22, 2006 11:07 am

Hello. I'm doing some last minute alterations on my costume for nurse witch komugi, and i still haven't decorated the tight with the signature stars and moons.

im at a bit of a crossroads.

im trying to decide betwen coloring on it (with what i still don't have any idea) or risking ruining the tights by sewing the shapes on.

if you have any ideas, please don't hesitate.

:D thanks.

I'd suggest using fabric paints(not the puffy kind). Just stick a peice of cardboard or something inside thitights so the color doesn't run. Or so they don't stick together! It'll be MUCH better than trying to sew the shapes on. good luck! Let me know how it turns out.

Textile paint will be good cause it has give. I can't think of the brand I use but it leaves the fabric not stiff. And yes the card board in the tights good idea.
