Gloves

Post by *B* » Sun Feb 05, 2006 9:30 am

Haha, I'll just bet you can tell I'm getting ready for a con! I need to make gloves for one of my costumes. I've found a pattern for gloves I could buy, but I'm wondering if it would be just as easy to make one by using my hand to draw it. Should I go with this idea, or buy the pattern for better accuracy?

I think you should go with the pattern unless you have looked a ta glove and how it was put together. Just tracing your hand and then sewing the around the tracing isn't that great, I have tried. I have made gloves before but I have looked at other gloves and looked at a pattern.

Ah. Thank you. I'd have liked to have saved the money, but if making a pattern from scrath is not a good idea, I'll buy the pattern.
