I'm going to a convention this year and my friends are doing an FF theme. I was wondering if someone could help me with a pattern for my Tidus costume?

The theme is no longer Final Fantasy and is now Yu Yu Hakusho, I'm playing Hiei, and I was wondering if anyone knew of any way to make his cloak so that is easy to pull off like his is. Thanks.

ah now... hiei's cloak is super easy... i used th pattern from a graduation robe as the base, and edited the sleeve and neck... oh... and omit the double thing those robes have going on on the top... that ruffle look isn't hiei at all...

well... that's what i did...
you may find an easier way...

Thanks, I'll give that a look and see how it works, I'm also thinking of trying it as a tunic.

If you want it to be able to come off extremely easily, try a double wrap. They're really simple, you just clasp it on one shoulder, wrap it, and clasp on the other. For the first clap you can have a button or something so you don't have to worry about unclasping it........ I'm sounding like a total idit, aren't I?

not really... it would work... but hiei's cloak does have sleeves... so it wouldn't work as well...plus you wouldn't have that fitted shoulder...
hold on?... are we talking about hiei's traditional clothing... aka the clothes he wears when we first see him in the anime and manga?

yeah, the cloak like tunic thing he wears in the first saga. I like the idea, and possibly for the arms put a couple clasps down them so when pressure is applied to the front of the tunic/cloak they pop just as the ones on the shoulders. Thnx, now I need to get to the fabric stores and whatnot.
