What does Ryu lack?
Maybe I'm just not good enough to see what Ryu doesn't have. What makes him not top-tier when the only thing I see he doesn't have is a fast drive rush. But maybe I'm wrong, I'm open to being enlightened.

Ryu’s not necessarily top-tier because he lacks some of the flashy tools others have, like a fast drive rush. But his strength lies in balanced fundamentals and versatility.
