d. gray man Lavi cosplay

I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice or tips on how to make Lavi's headband. Should I use Velcro or elastic or something? I'm kind of stumped.

Velcro might be easier to remove the headband from the wig.

But Wont The Velcro Get Sometimes Stuck to the Wig? :\

If your wig will be styled, I don't see how it'd get stuck in the velcro because the fibers would be stuck to themselves. But if you insist, try snaps? Use a safety pin or two? Make the headband out of really stretchy fabric?
