I need help to make Tamari's big ass fan that WILL open and close. PLease help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I got a close up look at that fan this weekend. It appeard she used planks (2x1 I think) with a large drill hole in the bottom. to use as the hinge. Drive the bolt through the hole useing 2 washers through between each plank. use a hex nut or if you have something better to press the ends use judgement to tighten, the washers will work as spacers and axles to tighten.
Open up the unclothed fan evenly and staple on the cloth.
If you're bold, use a grinder the smoothen down the bolt and nut.
