Hmm... There are some female Naruto characters. Not sure how crazy they are, but some of them have a tendency to be elaborate in clothing. You can try, Misa Amane, from Death Note. She has a very large choice of clothing, and has blonde hair. And she, can be VERY VERY elaborate if you really want to...

I want to go as Agito from Air Gear. And his costume seems fairly simple to make, however. I am not sure where to start, and how to get the props, and things I need. Any ideas? I believe it is a first year convention. I am guessing it's going to be christmas themed/styled, considering its weekend date: December 5 - 7.
