Construction Details:

Construction for this was easy, which was a good thing because I made most of 8 of these costumes. Yes, it did make me want to die a little. I bought four JoAnns completely out of white casa satin.

The tops were drafted by our Hanayo. The white tops are made of casa satin lined with cotton, and are elasticated at the bottom to make the ruffles. The black tops and vests are cotton sateen edged with handmade bias tape. I'd like to trim the vests further for the next wearing, as most of them are a little long.

The skirts are either a circle skirt (black) or a double circle skirt (white). The white skirts are just serged because it looked fine and time was starting to breathe down my neck. The belts are heavily interfaced satin, and the buckles (as well as the flowers on the tops) were laser-cut by our Maki (VocalCannibal).

Personal Thoughts:

We spent two goddamn months learning this dance and once our video drops it's gonna be baller
