Construction Details:

The mask is from 10oz leather. The eyes have black organza over them so you do not see my eyes, simulating the blind effect.

The bustle of the skirt was hand stitched to really get the voluminous ruffles going. The gold was shantung, and it was lined with a bell trim, which I loved.

I had purchased the corset online, as I wasn't skilled enough at the time to make my own corset.

Personal Thoughts:

This costume was for a Day 2, casual costume, group where a bunch of cosplayers dressed as burlesque versions of their favorite Warcraft dragons. I picked Atramedes, because Cataclysm was new at the time. Atramedes is a raid boss from that expansion, who is a blind dragon, and the mechanics use a lot of sound. I had a blast interpreting that into the costume. The bracers had gongs, and the skirt had a bell trim on it, which sounded melodic as I walked.
