Construction Details:

The bodice of the green dress was modified from a pattern I had previously made with a collar that I specifically designed for this project. The skirt is a simple circle skirt that I finished off with two rows ruffles. The white bodice is drafted from a medieval dress pattern that I changed the neckline of and (obviously) shortened. The gloves and hat were simple tutorials I found online and edited to my liking. Underneath the dress is a corset I made a few years ago, as well as a petticoat and bloomers that were also made and modified from tutorials.

Personal Thoughts:

This was such a fun project for myself! My goal for this project was to create a costume around the necklace I was wearing in my free time before Halloween. While I still want to fix some things on it, overall I thought it was an adorable take on a character and a series that is very close to my heart. It was also nice to see it featured in my school's newspaper!
