About this Costume
Construction Details:
The skirt, top, bolero, collar, arm warmers, armband, and leg warmers were made by me. The decals were done with iron-on ink jet printer transfer paper that were bought from Joann Fabrics: it printed nicely but I need to go over the decals again with a better iron (mine broke right after trying to iron these on lol). The visor was bought from Joann Fabrics, detached from its headband, and glued onto my Haruhi headband with Quik Grip. The top has side snaps, and the hem for the top has elastic sewn into it to prevent it from riding up. I will probably remake the leg warmers out of spandex (dunno why I didn't think of it, eh) for a later shoot. I took artistic liberties with the shoes because wedge platform sneakers are apparently in fashion right now. O_o;

The face tattoo was bought from Michaels and is REALLY expensive (a single sheet for $10!!). With its constant crinkling and peeling, the temporary tattoo sheet was definitely not worth it. Will think of an alternative to this eventually...
Personal Thoughts:
I totally flipped when I found out that Noizi Ito was going to be a Guest of Honor at AX. Due to real life and cosplay group priorities I skipped out on applying to be an escort to her (even though I REALLY WANTED TO) but I decided to cosplay something from her newest Hyakka artbook as a sort of tribute to her.

I'm really glad that Keita and Mousie got to be my Yuki and Mikuru respectively, and I hope to rewear this outfit with them again in the future!!
