Construction Details:

The design itself was based off of simple patterns for a skirt, vest, and pant legs. The shirt was a vest pattern that with help I drastically re-patterned.

Got to have some creative liberties with this costume! I found some cute black and yellow star beads around my house that I took and embellished my headphones with.

The hardest part of this costume was adding the bow on the back which required my sewing machine to go through several layers of fabric and interfacing while staying to keep it at the exact spot I wanted on the vest. Needless to say I seamed ripped several times, but in the end I prevailed :)!

Personal Thoughts:

One of my favorite costumes! Easy and comfortable to wear, got to have some creative liberty with accessories, and I loved toting around those records! Not to mention I got to do a duo cosplay with Leiko/Iroha, one of my best friends and favorite cosplayers. I think our color scheme played well off each other, and we just had a blast overall. I hope to wear this again some day with her once I touch it up a bit :)
