Construction Details:

This costume is still one of my very favorite cosplays of mine. I put it together before Anime Expo of 2008, and have worn it to more conventions afterward than any other costume. I modified an existing shirt and shorts into his, and essentially tore apart a pair of cheap shoes to make his. The collar was particularly difficult, but I was very pleased with how it came out. :3 I wanted a pair of actual, huge chunky headphones that would drown out all the sound that Neku so despises, so I modified a big pair of those, and found an mp3 player shaped like his that only plays WEWY music. Unfortunately, the bottom cap had been lost by the time we were able to take some actual photos... Someday, I'll revamp him and make him even better, and get an actual wig for him, but for now, I've been satisfied with the time I got out of this costume. :3
