Construction Details:

All I had to make for this one was the vest since the rest was from my Ran's Winter School Fuku cosplay.

♥~Vest~♥ (NEW)
Made from some of the material I had leftover from Rescue Arc Temari, a gorgeous periwinkle linen fabric. It was pretty simple to make and it's also lined. I worked hard to hide the closures since in the anime none are visible.

♥~Tie~♥ (re-used)
I made the tie, and actually had to sew part of it by hand. It only took one weekend to do, but it was the only sewing project that I worked on all that weekend.

♥~Skirt~♥ (re-used)
Made from a light blue suiting. The skirt was such a pain because I had to massively alter the pattern so that the skirt would look just right. This part took me much longer to complete because of this.

♥~Shirt, Socks & Shoes~♥ (re-used)
I already owned the white collared shirt, navy knee socks, and brown loafers.

Personal Thoughts:

I made this alternate version of Ran's school fuku for con's in warmer weather because if it's really hot I'm not very comfortable in the suit jacket and long sleeves of my other Ran cosplay. So this one has short-sleeves and a vest, much more comfortable in the summer time.

I tried to wear it once again at Anime Expo 2007 but the costume was too big and the wig had gotten rather messed-up by the prolonged storage.

Styling Notes

I had to borrow AC Tifa's wig since my Ran wig was being fixed-up when I wanted to wear this cosplay.
