Construction Details:

Card Captor Sakura was one of the first anime I watched, and Sakura reminded me very much of the way I was as a little girl! I'm not much taller than a little girl, at 4' 10", so I decided to give this costume a try, despite my... erhm... assets. Halfway through its construction, this costume was commandeered by my friend and sewing guru Katie, who really wanted the Design Award at Fanime 2007. I'm very glad I got this costume... Katie's work truly is masterful, far better than anything I could have made on my own. Also, she won that Design Award for the work on this costume, her Li, and my boyfriend's Clow!
