Construction Details:

Happy with the proportions and how everything fits. I used the Yaya Han 40-way matte stretch fabric from Joanns. The blues were from Discount Fabrics in San Francisco, both really nice and thick bridal satins. The remainder of the construction was following tutorials from various cosplay senpai with adjustments to patterns as needed. I wanna thank @cosmiccoterie & @thegeekyseamstress for their amazing step wise tutorial, they are spectacular! @sparklepipsi for her Sailor Bow tutorial, truly iconic and perfect! @nyunyucosplay for her boot topper tutorial, my Mercury-senpai! and @envelcosplay for her gloveroll tutorial, it came out so smooth! Also @katiecosplays for her tutorial as guidance for placement of the hip-roll and attention to detail with proportions. I feel so blessed! Cosplay has definitely come a long way since the early 2000s. And it is thanks to senpais like them who share their knowledge and talent to inspire and help others!

Personal Thoughts:

This costume was on my wish list for the longest time. It is my second time making a Sailor Fuku, my first being my very first cosplay of Mercury back in 2003!
