Construction Details:

Fuku top and skirt were both made from bottomweight rodeo cotton. The white parts are Kona cotton, with accents from bias tape. Digivices were made from paperclay and painted, but I think we might remake them soon with another material.

The socks are actually men's socks, because I couldn't find women's socks that were tall enough at Wal-Mart when we went, ahaha. Shoes were purchased from Amazon. The barrette was purchased from walmart and covered to make it white.

Gatomon and Patamon plushes were commissioned from someone on DeviantArt!

I had never made a sailor uniform/pleated skirt before, so neither of them are perfect, but I made them both in less than a week with a half-broken sewing machine... So given that, I think I did pretty well!

Also, I'm kind of annoyed--I was making this when we only had like 2 reference images to go off of, so I assumed the bias tape on her uniform was green. I rewatched Adventure 02 and that's what Sora's looks like when she wears the same uniform. But nope, according to the new trailers they're releasing apparently it's blue :/ So I guess now I have an excuse to remake this thing, haha.

also was pretty psyched to be the first digimon adventure tri cosplayers in the state, probably. We didn't wear them for very long because it was Sunday and my skirt was malfunctioning, but I'm still glad we did it!!!

Wig Review

I probably should have straightened this more, but I got lazy haha. It took some messing with to get the barrette/bangs to sit in the right place. Overall I love the wig!! It's really fluffy and doesn't tangle easily (thank goodness.)
