About this Costume
Construction Details:
More Rikku! This is my third Rikku costume; I have already made her Berserker dress sphere and her pixie/fairy form from Kingdom Hearts II (2). And there are still so many I want to make. :3

This is the same wig I used for my Berserker: Arda Jeannie in Light Blonde, resized, with an additional long ponytail clip made into all of the braids that she has.

The headband is just a piece of stretch cotton that I dyed to have the gradient.

The scarf was crocheted by Tokidoki-Loki in white cotton yarn, and I custom dyed it to have the gradient with red, orange, and yellow RIT dyes. I made the bikini top by taking apart a strapless bra, covering the cups with yellow spandex, then hand sewing orange trim around them. I went with a supportive cup instead of a plain bikini top because no support bikini tops are among the most uncomfortable things I have ever worn. I made a strap with some black pleather for the neck and attached some yellow ties to the sides of the cups.

The sleeves were made with leftover off-white ponte roma I had from my Valentine Love Live costume. The sleeves are tubes with some sections pinched off and hand sewn to secure them, then the bows sewn on top of the gathered parts to make it look liek the sleeves were tied together. There is elastic in the top to hold them on. Gloves were purchased on eBay.

Skirt is just a piece of stretch fabric that I dyed. Simple tube skirt with elastic waistband. The yellow pouches and belts I patterned out from scratch and then made from yellow vinyl.

The boots were a pair of white boots that I cut apart and made blue boot toppers for the rest. I used scraps of the white parts of the boots I cut apart to make the white trim and used extra yellow spandex to make the ties on the backs.

The thief knives are made from wood, laser cut out by Laser Blast Laser Craft. I assembled the wood layers, sanded, and painted them.
