Construction Details:

The "shiny" side of the polyester shantung from JoAnn's was used for the main dress. The light purple "slits" were embroidered onto the dress and were simply double folded quilt binding. The top had elastic around the shoulders to keep it up. I hand sewed on the crochet trim. So, yeah, I helped A BIT! ^^;

Personal Thoughts:

I did not make this costume. The lovely Sailor Gaia did. It was LOADS of fun to wear (still is :B). It was thrilling to not only be in such a great, large cosplay group sharing our love of LU, but made EVEN MORE AWESOME when we got to meet Peter Beagle in our regalia. We properly geeked out by wearing it to a showing of a Last Unicorn at a local theater where he was present! I've had such a lovely, lovely time in this outfit with such great friends!
