Construction Details:

This was entirely made and patterned by me. For my final in my patterning class we could do any design we wanted so I did Aurora's 'Once Upon a Dream' outfit and made a mock up.
The bodice is made of poplin shirting. The taupe fabric for the actual top was dyed and it was my first time dying and I'm really proud of it, it was dyed with liquid rit dye in taupe and the dye is 10 outta 10 would dye again. The corset is just the bodice pattern cut off at the top. The fit is accomplished through two big ole darts at the bottom of the bodice. The corset goes on top of the bodice, although I probably could have just made it a yoke.
The skirt is just a circle skirt made of kona cotton.
The collar is also kona cotton. When I made the pattern originally, the collar was too long and overlapped in the front and this time I cut off the excess and it is now too short so I have no idea what is up with it.
